TIOH’s Annual Christmas Dinner

It’s all hands on deck to support TIOH’s annual Christmas Dinner event, co-hosted by Hollywood United Methodist Church, now in its 36th year! Join us as we make and serve turkey dinner, and provide baked goods, toys, books, and hygiene items to our unhoused and low-income neighbors on Christmas Day.
The event takes place at Hollywood United Methodist Church, 6817 Franklin Ave. (corner of Franklin and Highland).
There are many opportunities for TIOH members and their families to be a part of the event, including making baked goods, donating toys, and helping to cook, set up, decorate, serve meals, and clean up. Below is a list of volunteer opportunities — please save the dates, sign-up links are coming soon!
Purchase new toys from our Wish List to be distributed at the Christmas Dinner event (now through December 10)
Volunteer in the TIOH kitchen to help cook (dates during the week of December 20 to be confirmed, all ages welcome)
Volunteer for Set-Up (Saturday, December 23, shifts between 9:00 am–3:00 pm, all ages welcome)
Make and Drop Off Baked Goods (drop off on Saturday, December 23, 11:00-1:00)
Volunteer Event Day (Monday, December 25, shifts between 7:00 am–5:00 pm)
