History of WoMen Against Gun Violence:  Founded almost 30 years ago, WoMen Against Gun Violence has worked tirelessly and fearlessly to prevent gun violence in our communities, state, and across the nation through impactful legislation and cutting edge programs.

Biography of Margot Bennett:  Margot Bennett is the Executive Director of WoMen Against Gun Violence.  She has served the not-for-profit community as a Board Member of the Fair Housing Council, a founding Director of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, and as the Associate Executive Director of the Inner City Law Center.  After receiving her Master’s Degree from the University of Judaism (now American Jewish University), she continued to pursue her not-for-profit career with the Western Law Center for Disability Rights and with the University of Judaism before joining WoMen Against Gun Violence over 10 years ago.
