We are launching an adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah class for anyone who has not had the opportunity to become B’nei Mitzvah.

In addition, anyone who did have the opportunity and would like to learn once again to read Torah and lead a Shabbat morning service is welcome to join in the learning process. This is what the “ReBar” is about.

The course begins Wednesday, September 14, 2022, and will culminate in a Shabbat morning service on December 16, 2023. We will meet twice monthly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm–8:00 pm plus Jewish holidays and special events.

Students will learn or revisit Hebrew reading, prayer fluency, and chanting Torah. We will go beyond the basics of prayer, the holiday cycle, Jewish obligations, and more.
